SoHo Down has a sound that comes to life in a blend of rooted country, additive pop melodies, and rock 'n' roll attitude! The band was formed in 2007 by Jennifer Allen (daughter of Dick Allen, from the band Mel & the Meatheads), and Eric Shaw (son of shop teacher, John Shaw). With the addition of Jessie Kohls and the girls' bodacious harmonies, the band began to gain a reputation as the Wilson Sisters of Country Music, and have attracted fans of Miranda Lambert, Johnny Cash, and Jack Daniels.
.."You" - "This is a great song and performance. The melody is strong and tuneful. The singer has an attractive vocal tone, and puts real feeling into the lyrics" - NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International)
.."One to watch... Keep an eye on these folks, they just keep getting better!" - NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International)
RadioNV has been Northern Virginia's favorite acoustic band since 2014. A blend of Rock, Country, R&B, and Pop, their energetic and bona fide performances are a refreshing combination of heavenly harmonies, rhythmic steel string guitars, and solid, bass-driving congas. Brian Johnson, Tim Campbell, and Michael Bacon are the 3 best friends that anybody could ever have, they're the 3 best friends that anyone could have...

Northern Virginia natives and lifelong musicians, Kara & Matty D bring the unique perspective of a married couple joining forces in an acoustic duo. Powerful vocal harmonies, rich guitar textures, compelling on-the-fly looping, and a healthy dose of dad-jokes and wife-glares make their live shows always worth marking on your calendar. You can find them playing all over the DMV area together, solo, or in other projects, and you can even find Kara on tour as a vocalist and guitarist with Bret Michaels Band. Their new single “Irene” by Kara Davis is available on all streaming platforms.

Rook Richards — the musical moniker of Mike Richards — is a native to Alexandria, VA and his musical roots run deep in the soil. Characterized by a harmonious fusion of genres including singer/songwriter, pop country, and acoustic rock, he took his eclectic mix of musical influences, intertwined them with his ethereal vocals, narrative-driven lyrics, and developed a distinctive sound of his own.
Richards will be delivering one single per month throughout 2023, starting with “Euphoric Dream” — one he’s been holding on for quite some time. His first release on Friday, January 20, “Euphoric Dream” was first written about young love when he was just 18. “It was a typical song about finding young love but through a tundra of cold hearts that are out there that couldn't care less if you added to their lives or not,” shares Richards. “It was the realization that the hope of someone you could really spend your life with was actually there.” Follow him for each monthly song release!
